Hello. When my car battery was reconnected, I turned the radio on but it's asking for code. I have the 4-digit code and 4-digit stock number but I don't know how to enter these numbers correctly. The numbers consist of 8787 and 4828.

Please help me enter the code.

Thank you!

Radio codes are usually 5 digits and contain numbers from 1 - 6. The code is entered by tapping the radio preset buttons. The numbers you listed don't look to be the anti-theft codes. The code should be on someting that looks like a credit card with the manual. Is the code written in the owner's manual? Sometimes the code is on a sticker in the glove box depending how the car was prepped for sale to the original owner.

To get the code, the radio needs to be removed to get the serial number. The dealer should be able to provide it with the SN.

Hi, trip, my car is a 95 honda ex, now my car also ask for the code for the radio, but I am not sure which is the preset buttons, are those 1-6 digits buttons ?
the previous owner gave me the 5 digits code, but I don't know how to type in, since when I tried to hit the code, no response at all, maybe I should hit some particular button first ? thank you for your help.
