Ok...have a question for you. I have a 8130 BlackBerry Pearl and have the BlackBerry data plan. Can I put a data block on it and cancel the data plan?

NO, if you take data off u have to change the device. bb and verizon got a special contract. if you currently have the 44.99 plan tho you could switch it to the 29.99 for unlimited or 24.99 for 10 meg of data.
