Feeler thread...

Wife finally came to the realization that we need to get back into an SUV. That means we'll need to sell (or trade) one of two like-new Honda Accords. As much as we'd like to keep 'em, three growing boys are outgrowing the cars... especially when there's a large car seat in the back. An SUV will make travelling a lot more roomy.

Car is in GREAT condition! Anyone welcome to come by and test drive (accompanied by me, of course). Windows are tinted, and have a new full nose mask for it. We've had the car for just over one (1) year now. Will post pics this weekend... after the rain lets up. BTW, Richards Honda has done ALL of the service on the car. It's under a 100,000 mile warranty! 8) The vehicle has 24,000 miles on it.

Well... decided not to do any haggling with trying to sell my wife's Accord out-right. My wife didn't want to get another Yukon, so...

You’ll know why when you have to start putting gas in the tank!

Hopefully it works out best for your situation. So you sold/traded your accord right?

Compared to the '07 AV6s, of course you'll have nearly half the fuel economy. I never expect to beat the AV6 on that. Where it does beat the AV6 is space & towing capacity. LOL I know, the Accord is no truck. Seriously, I traded one of the two '07 AV6s b/c we can't haul 6 people & luggage in the car. It was becoming a pain to drive two cars & pack sparingly. Since my wife's driving less than 10 miles to work, it's her DD. I just fill 'er up. To be honest with ya'll, my old '02 Yukon saw less than 15mpg on a easy hwy cruise. It was rated by the EPA @ 16 hwy. The Armada's at 18mpg. Plus, the ride comfort is 3 times better.

Yes, one of two that we possessed. The graphite pearl AV6 is gone. Keeping my silver one until my 11 yr old is old enough to drive. If it lasts the next 6 - 7 years, it'll be probably his first whip. Will probably have just over 200K miles by then.
