I am looking to get a repair/maintenance manual for my 2000 Accord. Anyone have a suggestion on which one is the best? I appreciate your help.

I've used both Chiltons and Haynes on cars I have worked on.

I prefer the Haynes for simplicity and nice pics, but sometimes the Chiltons has better detail on a particular job.

If you plan on doing most of your own work, I'd get both.

Where would you recommend getting either one of these manuals? I actually need one for my CR-V by Wednesday. Would a place like autozone be a good place to go?

I've used the Haynes manuals for several vehicles and they are usually available from Pepboys, but if you're going to be doing most of your own repair/maintenance, you might consider getting the official Honda repair manual from the Helms site.

Should be able to go to any auto place and get a haynes manual. I agree with according2me with going with the honda repair manual. I've got a Haynes for my car, and it works but is vague in some areas.

I just received my official Honda service manual from Helm Inc. It is WAY overkill at 1500+ pages. I doubt if I'll ever use more than 5% of it. Having said that, I also know I'll never lack detailed information for any repair or replacement necessary. Is it worth it at $70? For me, yes.

One warning for V6 owners. This manual only covers the 4-cylinder engine. There's a supplement manual for the V6.
