I just leased a new Accord coupe on Friday, but had to take it back in to repair some little nicks in the paint. They had to go get the car from another dealer who apparently didn't take very good care of the paint. Anyway, my dealer got me a rental car while mine in the shop. Nothing will make you appreciate your Accord more than driving around in a Dodge for a couple days. They gave me a 2008 Dodge Avenger and I feel like I'm driving around in a toy. Everything is so cheap and plasticy. I need my car back!!!!

Poor thing. You're driving the car that totally lost to the Accord in a recent comparo by car and driver.

Is it the 4cyl?

Anyway, yeah it's the 4 cyl. version.

I went test drive one... I know what you mean. It is plastic. EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE SEATS. But can't wait till u get "BIG RED" back. :)

I hear ya.... a couple of weeks after buying our new Accord we spent 2 weeks vacation in Florida stuffed into a base model Corolla... ugh. :thumbsdow

I was VERY happy to get back to the new car....Vermont Winter much less so.

haha. Just to see what the car was working with. It was a new model and i just like test driving cars. It's fun/addicting. :)

Well, I finally got the Accord back tonight. I got it home and realized there was overspray all over the hood. Why the dealer didn't catch this, I don't know. I was very annoyed about it, but I went out and bought a clay bar and it took care of the problem.

If you got it for free via insurance, you practically did steal it. Regardless, that is what rentals are for. :biggrin:
