Hello Group,
I am new to Drive Honda Accord Forums. I sold a 2002 Lexus GS300 for a Black 2008 Honda Accord EX-L (V6) with Tan Leather. I like driving the Accord more than the Lexus GS. The Lexus GS is quicker off the line than the 08 Accord. And the seats in the Lexus are more comfortable than the Accord, but I like driving the Accord more than I did the Lexus.
The Accord is more spacious than the Lexus and has more interior space. The only thing that the Accord is lacking are Memory Seats. But, I hope to keep this Accord for a while. I started with an 89 Accord and I have had a lot of cars in the past 20 years, and I think that Honda did an excellent job with the 08 Accord.
I think this is the best Accord in the history of Honda!!!!!!!!:banana:

My first car was an 89 Accord also. Since then I have had a ton of other cars Honda,Toyota, Chevy in the past 15yrs. The 08 Accord is def the best Accord yet IMO. I have a 08 EXL V6 6speed MT Coupe Black/Black.

I totally understand where Corpnupe85 is coming from. I too have a long history of owning Honda products. Last February I purchased an 06 Infiniti G35 coupe (6MT) and will be trading that in March for a 08 Accord EX-L V6 M6. Something about driving a Honda keeps me coming back!!!

Corpnupe85,
What a beautiful car! I bought the exact same one last week, but the dealer claims there are none with the Black/Ivory in all of New England. They've placed an order with Honda and expect a wait of 1-3 months!! Based on your pics, I think I made the right choice. Thanks for the post.

Just so you know. My local dealership has an 08 Sedan V6 EX-L Black w/Ivory interior. It's in NJ. I doesn't have Navi. The dealership is Burn's Honda in Marlton NJ. Just trying to help.
Back to the OP.........very nice looking car!!

The dealership might be saying that because Burns Honda may not be a dealer that the other dealership will trade with (or could be Burns won't trade with them).
At any rate, either drive and hope it's still there, bring up the fact that there's one at Burns Honda and see what they say, or just wait for the one on order to come in.

My previous car was a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer and compared with my Accord, it is night and day. I do miss the Trailblazer during snow storm days though.

what are memory seats?
It's more like 'positional memory' and is useful if more than 1 person drives the car. In fact, it's like the preset station buttons on your radio.
Basically, you set the seat to your liking and press the memory button. Your seating position is now memorized. Now, when another driver changes your seating positon, you don't have to fiddle with the settings to get it just right again. All you do is press the memory button and it will morph into the positions that you have previously set for yourself.

Thanks for all of the great replies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those reflections on the Rear Bumper are my running shoes.
I have also had the windows tinted and added the Zxilon treatment to my Vehicle.
***** The Accord EX-L V6 with VCM gets considerable better gas mileage than the Lexus GS300 that I previously owned. And I don't have to use premium gas in the Accord.:thumbsup:
