I have a JHM 4th Gen Accord (the '92), and, while I have started on switching out from dealer parts to a bit better than stock, I have a few questions.

It's a SOHC 2.2L (16 valve) engine with an auto transmission, and FWD.

1) What is the most I can expect out of this car?
2) How can I get the best of what I have without swapping? I love the car, it's peppy, and I don't want to lose what makes it what it is. I simply want the most out of what it is.
3) I've seen lots of terms being thrown around about H22 and the such, which engine is this car?
4) Now, should I ever decide to, you know, go a bit further, what is possible and simply "crazy", lol? I'm not a huge fan of FWD and I'm wondering, and this is likely falling in the "are you flipping crazy lady?!" zone, if it's remotely possible to change it out. I know that would involve loads of work, and cash...
5) And if it's too crazy, is there an Accord that is RWD?
6) The next question is I was talking to my local custom shop and he threw out the term "JDM". What is the big different between the JDM and the JHM of the same year, if any?

Now, onto the mod questions.

I like a subtle touch to cars, and would like to touch my Accord up in a similar fashion. Any suggestions? Anyone have a 4th Gen Accord that they've fixed up?

well the RWD question would be way crazy to even attempt. it would be really stupid to spend that much cash on an accord. you would be way better off just buying a car that is already RWD.
i know where your coming from though, i have dreamed of an RWD accord, then i slapped myself and came to a realization that it would be retardedly (< ya i know that is not a word) expensive. not to mention you would have to put a different engine in it that most likely would not work with the wiring, and probably a huge list of problems to overcome. I'm not saying it can't be done, i know it can be done, but it would be a retarded investment, unless you have money coming out of...well you know where.:)

I don't think there is such thing as a stock RWD accord, at least not in the states.
