Please, how much do you consider reasonable to repalce Rear Brakes on a 2000 Accord in Dallas, TX? Not a dealership, mechanics.
the car is at 123K miles.
thanks in advance!!!

Disc or drum? Just friction material or full blown with Rotors/Drums and Hydraulics?

If it's rear discs you can buy pads from H&A Honda online for $39 including Moly grease and do it yourself in 25 minutes.
Cost plus your time..it is so easy. Check the threads. If you can handle a wrench you are allready done. The dealer will charge you $152.
They also have Honda Service manuals and you are way ahead on ANYTHING that is servicable as you continue on your journey....

Depends on what your car needs. If it's just pads, then the cost of the pads plus install. However a car with 123K miles more likely needs new rotors. If you take it to a professional shop, they're required to replace the rotors if they're below the manufacturer's minimum specifications for thickness and runout. Its a liability issue.
So if those are the stock rotors, I'd say its safe to bet they're below spec. If they're above spec, then they can be resurfaced. But be warned, if they've been replaced once they could still be out of spec, particularly if they were replaced with cheap ones. Some aftermarket manufacturers don't create their rotors to OEM specs, they'll use the minimal possible to be legal and safe in order to save money.
Pads -- anywhere from $45 to $90 for the set. Install -- anywhere from $50 to $90 for both sides. I believe the Mitchell Guide calls for 1 hour of labor on the Accord rear brakes (as with most cars.) Some shops stick to the guide like glue, others charge a flat rate regardless of the vehicle.
Whatever you choose, stick with good quality pads and you'll be happy. Wagner ThermoQuiet, EBC, Raybestos, OEM Honda, etc. Personally, I'd only use EBC or Wagner on mine.

like said, it's easy to replace brake pads. I just did a replacement job last weekend, and it literally took less than an hour start-to-finish (including pulling jack and stands from workshop). I even did a "mini" write-up on the process. Search the board for the thread. Should be titled "How to replace brake pads...". It's written with the '07 Accord in mind, but should apply for all.
Dealer will charge ~$149 + tax to do the job (1 hour labor + parts). Rotors (for my '07 Accord) were quoted to me @ $110 each. I'd by aftermarket. Honda's proud of their rotors.
