ALL:
I thought that I had seen info on an HFP Suspension kit for my 2007 Accord V6 AT5 Coupe, but when I went to the dealer today they said that there isn't one for my year.
Is this correct? If it is wrong, does anyone know where I can order it? Will the kit for an 03-05 Coupe work for mine without voiding warranty? I searched the forum, but couldn't find anyone using the HFP Suspension on an 07 Coupe.
If there isn't an HFP Kit available, what other suggestions do you have to lower the car. I want better turning, while keeping a pretty nice ride feel.
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Craig

I found a listing for the Factory Performance Suspension at College Hill Honda. It was listed under 2006-2007 Accord, but when you look at the installation instructions, it is clearly from the 2003-2005 model years. Does anyone know of any trouble installing the 2003-2005 Factory Performance Suspension on a 2007 Coupe?

Can't say for 07, but I know they work on 06 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 as I just returned my vehicle to stock.:lmao:

Does this mean you were using the Factory Performance Suspension and removed it? If so, would you mind letting me know why you went back to stock?
Thanks,
Craig

Claw02,
What about the ride? Was it still smooth? Did you get better turning, etc?
Craig
Sharper turning can be acquired cheaply with swaybars and tires.
The HFP suspension lowers the car and changes the overall dynamics.

I am coming from a 350Z, and although I don't want to completely recreate that ride, I do want somewhat tighter corners. I am already planning swaybar replacements, as well as adding the strut tower bar.
My thought was that the HFP will give me a lower center of gravity. Did you find the upgrade worth it?

Then, I would go with aftermarket, like Eibach or H&R for springs, and KONI for shocks....
You will be a little lower than with the HFP kit, but I think it is worth it.

Will that still keep a pretty smooth ride? The one thing that I didn't like about the 350Z was how jarring it got after a while. Maybe it is because I am now 43, but I want some comfort .

It might be rougher, but at least the KONI shocks are rebound adjustable...
Where I live, roads are really bad, but I mean really bad! 90% of the time, I think ride quality and comfort is OK. 10%, when I go on really bad roads, the ride is a bit bumpy...
But, more handling you have, less comfort...
I went with the Pro-Kit (Eibach) because of the mild drop (1.4"F / 1.2"R), to be able to keep a bit of comfort. Also, since we have much snow here, I wanted to have some space for the snow in the wheel wells...
Of course, with the aftermarket springs & shocks, you void your warranty...but Eibach and KONI have a liftetime warranty. By the way, I asked Honda about the HFP suspension for my car when it was new, and they told me that the HFP has a 1 year warranty....
EDIT: another great mod is the TL-S front and rear sway bars...
