Awww yeah... I just pulled the trigger on some Zymol Concours...
I justified it by telling myself that if I upsell a handful of customers to Zymol instead of my standard wax at $30 a pop it will have paid for itself...
I know this may not do anything for most of you.. but for the few OCD guys that detail their cars on here.. well, smile for me!

It was a tough call between this and Swissvax but I ended up going with the Zymol... I already have 2 people booked to use it just from talking over lunch!!

Be careful with that stuff. Too much use could cause your paint to look like this. :D
Do you put the Concourse on with fingertips or is it just like regular wax?

It's user preference but I will be doing it both to see which way I prefer - due to the high carnuaba content the wax is rather hard and that is why people apply by hand to warm it and make it workable.. If I do not like hand application i will be warming up an applicator.

I'd likely nuke it for 30 seconds or so and let 'er rip with a MF covered sponge.

Stay on them! Talk is cheap when there's snow on the ground and it's freezing cold.

Hey MotorCity & Texas,
What brand of car wash do you guys use???

Due to the high temps and hard water where I live everything streaks no matter how well you rinse. Because of that I buy whatever is on sale. Most recently I bought Meguiar's NXT and it seems to streak less than most and has long lasting suds.
If I'm just doing a wash n vac I'll go over the car afterwards with Optimum wax or Aquawax to remove the streaks/cloudiness.
If it's getting polished I don't care if it streaks or not because the buffer & polish will clean that up anyway.

Royale's expensive.
But if you/it can produce results like this (http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=56439) and you have clients willing to shell out for it, then why not?

Unfortunately the Royale will not give a finish like that alone. It is all in the prep.(Could you imagine what it would look like if he just waxed the car?)
Matt does it right!!

yeah I'm not going to warm up the whole pot.. I will actually be putting the pot of wax in a cooler with ice when I bring it on a detail.. keeping it cool is key to shelf life.. I may be getting a wine cooler for my waxes soon
