CD player error code

I have a '98 Honda Accord with factory single disc CD player. About two weeks ago, I inserted a variety of CD's and all produced a PE 0 error code on the display. I attempted to clean the player's lens with a CD lens cleaner. After three attempts, I was able to play CD's for a day or two. Then the error returned. I've tried to clean it with a can of compressed air used for cleaning computers with no success. Page 143 of the owners manual states three causes - Focus/CLV error, data read error search error. It also lists three solutions - press the eject button and pull out the disc, check if the disc is inserted correctly in the CD player, and make sure the disc is not scratched or damaged. I've tried all three with no success. Any suggestions?

Our service manager here said to try unplugging the unit from the DIN cable, and plugging it back in after about 10 seconds. That's the only other reset procedure. If worse comes to worse, you may have to have it sent out for repair, which any dealer can do.

Per the suggestion above, I unplugged the radio and, unfortunately, the error code did not go away. Thanks for the suggestion. I guess I'll have to go to the dealer.
