Cold idle is fine, around 1500 rpms......When warm i get this real low like 4-500 rpm idle........sets a vibration into car.....very annoying........is there a fix for this?

Or is this normal?

It's normal if your throttle body is getting gunked up!:)

Even if it wasn't the cause, it wouldn't hurt at 300K, right? lol

True true........Well looks like this weekend i will be free.......So tuneup time....

I was also wondering....I talked to the original owner, he had the timing belt and water pump done at 100K and 200K so now time for another......Wonder if it was possible to loose some timing if the belt was worn. I figure since this is a interference motor that woulnt be the case....Just break or whatever if it was going...

Being a belt with teeth....I don't think so....

Although it's time for a replacement, I don't think it has anything to do with the low idle....

So when you're changing the belts & water pump, clean things up, especially the throttle body & see if you have found the problem. (or clean it up first, then you'll know if the repairs we're done correctly easier)

Make sure you get the new belt on just right! A tooth one way or the other will not make your car happy!!

You'll need a pulley holder....you can't loosen the big bolt holding the pulley without it. If you have a Honda manual, read it carefully BEFORE you start to make sure you have all the tools required!
