Hi everyone I have a 5th Gen 4 banger and I've got a custom catback with 2.25" piping and N1 muffler, it's really loud and up to a point that I can't stand it anymore. I was thinking about throwing a cherrybomb glasspack muffler in the middle of the piping, do u guys think it would quiet things down without making my car sound funny? Anyone had done this before? Some of my friends told me that it'll make the car sound louder, and some says that it would quiet things down. So should I get that cherrybomb? or some other kind of resonator?

It's bound to help. My old hardbody had a 2" catback with a glasspack only. It wasn't nearly as loud as a fartcan.
I'm considering a similar setup for my Accord. Maybe 2 glasspacks (in series) before the axle with a new one piece tailpipe.

check this website for some magnaflow resonators. The longer the more sound supression. Your friend that told u that putting more muffler in your exhaust would make it louder is not smart. It will change the sound but towards the fewer decibel side.
