Hi ya'll....

I recently came accross a site on ebay that was selling performance chips for 08 honda accords...it claims 65+ HP and a list of things that sound extremely too good to be true....did i mention the price is 8.99!!

So i was wondering if any one out there has had some experience with using this sort of technology. I am extremely execptical about purchasing something like this, since i dont want to install anything that may damage my car...any one out there please advice.

yeah....i did my research on these things...i confronted the seller and didnt get a responce. He pulled out the items yesterday...must be the answer i was looking for...

It basicly tricks the engine to think the air its recieving is really hot, by increasing resistance in o2 sensor, tricking the computer and thinking it needs more fuel for proper mix... but since this is happening, its screwing up the mix of fuel to oxygen, screwing up all dif parts, YES youll get more HP but youll nearly kill everything else.. (too much stress to your cat and carbon buildup to engine)

LMAO. no it's not gonna work. it would probably do more harm that it would actually help. steer clear from most ebay parts.

Sorry for bumping up an old thread but don't waste your money on these. I was thinking about getting a performance chip too, but it looks like these things don't do crap. I was reading this performance chip article (http://www.performancechiptuning.com/)about it, and it looks like these things don't work at all
