I won!

I took on city hall & won! There's a 3 way intersection that I really hate to use because the street that "T's" into the main street is used for a short cut by commuters & the main one didn't have a stop sign for it. I've nearly been rear ended, cut off & side swiped there! Others have been hit according to the debris!

So last week I sat down & emailed their city hall. It's our neighboring town. I explained the problem & today I got an email from them....they are adding a 3 (all) way stop there! It'll be put in as soon as they can....

There's signs to tell people not to use it for a commute short cut, but it hasn't worked. Next I want it widened & a light with a turning lane! I'll wait to see what their plans are first.... that's where they moved the Honda dealership to.

So form here, if you go staight on the main street you go to dealers & a shopping center with Target, Ross, a movie theater..... about 30 stores. If you make a left at that T you go to Staples, Home Depot & the freeway.... You can imagine trying to make a left at 5PM!!

Making everyone stop will make life easier!!:D

Good for you!!. In Tampa, there was an overpass over I-75 with on ramps on either side. People were always speeding over the brigde and people trying to come off the interstate cant see. It took several accidents and 2 deaths for them to put a light it. I hate FL traffic.

I really hate that intersection! I wrote then last year, but got no response... maybe being an election year helped!

It's been a dangerous spot since they opened up the street that T's in. Handy, but dangerous! I think it'll take a few weeks to see the stop sign put up....but worth the wait!

Our water mysteriously got better after griping....& the tester person has actually been letting it run for the time required before the test! That was last month's battle.

My prince says I'm like a chihuahua....I don't know how small I am! I take on things that many will just sit & gripe about. Even a little dog can bite! Maybe sometimes I get too emtional, but usually the job gets done!!

We got to use the new stop signs..... our favorite tree lot moved to that corner. It made it much less hectic & scary to go there! Once people get used to it, I think they'll like it. There's going to be a few runners for a little while.... especially this time of year when people can't drive anyway... their minds are on shopping & NOT driving.... it get scary out there!:eek:
