I have the Accord in for service today. ATF fluid service and the rear brakes were making some noise, so they checked it.

They told me I am at 1mm on the rear pads, or 98-99% gone. The car has 75000 miles on it, and the rear pads are original, so I am quite pleased. I remember doing all FOUR rotors and pads on my 96 Grand Prix at 50000 miles...........:thumbsdow

thats pretty dang good. When i bought my honda used with 105km (66 000 Miles) i had to replace the rear pads. They were done. it was metal on metal!

damn. when I bought my honda back in 2003, after a few months at 4,500 miles I had to change everything, pads & rotors. I didn't know I drove that hard. haven't had the need to change them yet since then though....

Just picked it up. Runs like a Swiss watch.........:)

The mechanic said I did really well to get 75000 on the OEM rear pads, the most he's ever seen was 80000 in his 15 years there.........:)
