What do you mean---can you explain? I look at these settings and think that they look fine. I can tell you the old settings were not even close. Toe was way out, and so, too, was the camber setting. Caster was ok though.
Thanks,
Curt

I mean if you still have the shakes AFTER the alignment, then it must be a tire issue. Didn't you say it doesn't shimmy with your Winter tires on? Or am I getting mixed up here?
Car's alignment can get messed up by potholes, curbbing... or it is possible to just come that way. There's also the frame bulletin. But if it went away with changing tires, then tires sound like the logical culprit, right? Possibly rims, if they're also changed. Tires are THE most common.
Anyway, has the shimmy gone away with getting it aligined? If so, then there you go! Hopefully to many trouble free miles!

No, the shimmy hasn't gone away since the alignment. I also am not convinced it got worse, but I'm not certain of that.
I agree that tires are the most likely; however, I have now had 8 different tires through 2 different sets of rims and tires. I still can't get a vibration free ride. It's a shot in the dark, but I wonder if they have truly been balanced correctly. I won't point fingers at anyone since I don't know enough about it; however, after using the Hunter Roadforce 9700, I would have thought it would be gone. Not so. Because of that, it makes me think something else is wrong. Then again, it could be that the user didn't REALLY know how to use the machine----ahhhhhh! You start to see what tears through me head on this issue. There are soooo many variables.
It's at the dealer and they are going to work with it to figure it out. I haven't heard if it's done and honestly, I don't care how long it takes (within reason), as long as it's fixed. As I told the dealer, "I don't care if you have to put square tires on it; if the vibration is gone, we'll be happy on our end."
Cross your fingers for me...
