so i went to get oil and didnt have my accord with me nor did i look at the oil specifics.they suggested 10 30 for my car. i put it in then saw where it said use 5w 30.will this hurt my car if i do an oil change asap again?:dunno::dunno:

That really depends on how cold it is now in RI. Most dino 10W30 oils will still pour at -25F. I don't think there is a need to change it unless you hear any odd start up noise on the coldest of mornings/nights. The only difference is a 5W30 will remain liquid and flow more quickly at a lower temp than a 10W30. If you have a block heater then don't sweat it at all just go with 5W next time.

thanks,i cant tell if its running different due to it not starting now that i added oil,have another thread goin on that 1.it just wont fire
