Since so many of you guys are getting your cars tinted, I was hoping that we could start a thread on how much tinting ran you guys, so the rest of us don't get ripped off.

1) How many/which windows were tinted
2) What kind of tint was used
3) Did the tinter use the black vinyl method to cover the matrix

1) 35% everything except windshield
2) er... I already forgot the brand. guy has been doing it 19 years and i checked with prior customers.
3) no appreciable matrix on sedan so not a factor

i got Suntek Film and Sedan was okay and it cost me $190, it has lifetime warranty and i live in Oakland California but i got it done at a shop who does my dealership work.

how are they removing the rear panel so they can tint the full window instead of cutting around teh rear break light??
