Are you having a problem with the car or wanting to know about mods?? jdm_cd6 07-29-2005, 11:32 PM he or she wants to make a custom CAI, usually, the material that they use for the CAI is aluminum, very light, you don't want to have steel or titanium CAI, CAI = Cold Air Intake, by the way. BenjiBoy650 07-29-2005, 11:42 PM Probably a bit late now but you can make a CAI with a couple of elbows and a few lengths of pipe, PVC or rubber or whatever else. Plus a cone filter. Relatively simple, but it will not increase horsepower much I think. The point is to get air in but if you put it in the wrong place you will get turbulent air, which will detract from performance. jdm_cd6 07-29-2005, 11:52 PM is this poster still around? VTECaddict 07-29-2005, 11:54 PM might be lurking, but that was his first and only post... jdm_cd6 07-29-2005, 11:55 PM wow, you live way up north huh? beautiful people up there, vietnamese ladies. 04blkpearlcoupe 07-30-2005, 02:32 AM you can buy some low prices CAIs on ebay brand new for well under $100. Ive seen some for as low as $35. Only problem might be finding one for your year accord. Or there is this one for $59.95 from JC Whitney: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ItemBrowse/c-10102/s-10101/p-100000314845/mediaCode-ZX/appId-10335002/Pr-p_CATENTRY_ID:10000031484510335002 Its only a short-ram but its made for an 87 accord. |
