Welcome to the forum!
Are you having a problem with the car or wanting to know about mods??

he or she wants to make a custom CAI, usually, the material that they use for the CAI is aluminum, very light, you don't want to have steel or titanium CAI, CAI = Cold Air Intake, by the way.

Probably a bit late now but you can make a CAI with a couple of elbows and a few lengths of pipe, PVC or rubber or whatever else. Plus a cone filter. Relatively simple, but it will not increase horsepower much I think. The point is to get air in but if you put it in the wrong place you will get turbulent air, which will detract from performance.

you can buy some low prices CAIs on ebay brand new for well under $100. Ive seen some for as low as $35. Only problem might be finding one for your year accord.
Or there is this one for $59.95 from JC Whitney:

Its only a short-ram but its made for an 87 accord.
