Are there any ways to improve gas mileage? I already cleaned my injectors with Chevron Techron. I have my tires inflated to 35psi and get my oil changed every 3000. Anything else I can do? Should I try the tornado fuel saver?

Thanks

Look ahead, anticipate. Learn to coast more. Braking wastes fuel. Accelerate conservatively (but balance this with safety). Less AC and highest temp you can stand in the summer. In the winter, run AC off most of the time when using the climate control. Remove junk from the trunk.

Dropping your freeway speed by 10 mph (say from 70-75mph down to 60-65 mph) will improve your mpg by about 3-4 mpg. Start off easy in town, and as mentioned in the prior post - look ahead, anticipate, and try to make as little use of the brakes as possible (since they are just turning momentum into heat), while keeping up with the flow of traffic. You can take the tires up to 40 psi and gain another 1 mpg but these cars ride pretty harsh even at 35 psi so I wouldn't do it personally.

thanks for all the replies. I was just seeing if they made anything to get better gas mileage but I guess not.

Gas Mileage is mostly dependent upon your driving style.

While I wouldn't recommend all of those hypermiling techniques to a novice...a few practices will increase your mileage. Give it a read and try a few things (the easy stuff). You will be surprised with the results.

As well....we are coming out of the winter months. This means winter gas is on its way out. My last tank is filled with summer blend. I know this b/c my mileage (commute) just jumped to over 19+...which is something I haven't seen since before winter.
