Welcome 6SHOOTER!!!

It makes no difference in wheel size!! Tire size YES...

As long as the outside diameter or Revolutions Per Mile are the same as your current tire you will be fine....

Go to http://www.tirerack.com/ to learn more about Plus sizing...

You cannot mount a 17" tire to your standard 16" wheel (I think this is what you're saying). Any good tire shop or an installer with half a brain should catch this - but ya never know. If you want to go to a 17" you need a new wheel, plus your tire sidewall needs to shrink.

Thanks for the info guy's.my plan's are to replace the
205/60R16 with 215/50R17,so it's my understanding I have to replace the wheels because of the larger size tires?
