Relatively new to this Forum. The V6 Coupe 6 Speed has been fantastic - but only 20 miles on it. The BBP and Ivory was tough to find in a manual. Replaced an '06 I4 5A sedan.

Looks very familiar. Nice to see a fellow BBP/Ivory V6 6MT. First thing...tint is a nice touch.

Good choice of color. Definitely one of the top color combinations.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, John. Legal tint in NC is wimpy.
Plus you have to pay an extra $10 every time you have it inspected to re-certify it's legal %. Lucky you're in SC. I spend a lot of time in Charleston - good friends on Isle of Palms.

welcome to DA!

Nice choice in a RD ... is that a Escort 9500 ? non-x50 ? or the Solo ? Or some sort of older thinner beltronics? the telephone style jack and cord give away that you know how to pick a better than avg one.

That is a Bel. I have an Escort 8500 X50 in my Vette (greater need), that I put in the Honda for road trips. Better distance and fewer false alarms with the Escort. Sold a Valentine when I got the 8500. Thanks for noticing.

Inspections in NC vary by county. Where I live there are no emissions/OBDII checks, and usually no harrassment for anything other than non-working head/tail lights and bald tires.

Very nice car. Have any full size pics?

The local dealer has a red/black 6spd on the lot, but they put that hideous pin stripe on every coupe they have :(

What's legal in NC? Here it is 27% so I got 30%. I'd prefer darker for the triangle windows and the back glass, but I don't need hassle with police. I wish they would start doing inspections here again. Half of the cars on the road here don't need to be. I've seen a car WITHOUT a driver's side door cruising around!

I've heard the belize blue/ivory is the rarest and hardest color combo to find, especially in a 6speed. was it just on your dealer's lot hanging out?

That color looks an awful lot like "Kentucky Blue"....you SURE you want that in NC? "GO BIG BLUE!" :lmao:

Just ragging on ya!

GREAT color, but then again I'm partial to my team's colors.

You know....we could pass it off as Duke blue. hahah I'm a Chapel Hill fan myself....well for basketball at least...Va Tech for football.

My BBP/Ivory V6 6MT was sitting on the lot. They were going to move it into the showroom the day after I bought it. It was only on the lot for maybe three days. Even salesmen at the dealer tell me how nice it is when they see it. In fact, mine told me someone ordered one just like mine except he wanted cloth. EW @ cloth.

In Charleston, the 2-door is rare, period. There's mine, a white one, a black one, and a red one. Meh. It IS only March though. The sedan is everywhere though.

I found the car on an incoming list at Hendrick Honda - and negotiated the price over 2 weeks so when it arrived, I got it off the truck. I had been looking since January for that color combination.

Driven,

I like where you are at for the most part. Duke for bb, VT for football. Went to VT myself but wanted to go to Duke.

Go Hokies/Blue Devils!!!

Thanks for the extra pic. I actually meant the full size they were taken at...larger than the 600 x 450 they are now. They are 3-4" wide at my resolution. They are the best pics I've seen of a coupe in that color :)

That's funny. I do love watching VT football. Duke isn't bad, but I guess I have to hate them because I'm a 'Heels fan....something like that.

Yes, an 06 Z51 6 spd with NAV silv/blk, silver nose mask many other goodies. 2,050 miles, never in rain, never washed. A true trailer potato. Stupid fast!

You might try Crown Honda here in Charlotte - they show 3 V6 coupes in inventory - one is black - I can't tell the colors of theother two. Good Luck!
