To the folks who done wheels or know a thing or 2 about them on our G8

I have the 08 EX-L Coupe 4 Cyl Navi 5sp Manual

I am also going to throw a set of Eibach/HR springs in with stock struts therefore going a max of 1.5-1.7" drop

so the question is, will the setup work? will these wheels work?

I'd go with something with a later offset. With the +35 you're going to be pushing the wheels out past the edge of your fender. Not only will it look a little funny but it will probably change your handling characteristics for the worse. Id try and find something in the +40 to +45 offset. At least going with 18x8's is you have a ton of choices.

i don't think you got what i said...i meant i don't know enough about wheels in general to tell you if they will work, they may or may not, i am not the guy that will know.

They'll stick out 33mm at that size. If you don't lower too much or at all, they'll probably work. You could always roll your fenders.....

really? is that confirmed with +40? on 8" width wheels or something else?
jb has 8.5" with +40 in the front and that looks flush... if that's the case, 8" width should be able to take a bit of a lower offset

also, is our rear finders out more than the front or about the same?
