never even heard of those.

i have seen them advertised....but, for alot cheaper, ou could go with de-icing washer fluid (rain-x makes some and prestone too i think), and heavy-duty winter wiper blades. the only reason i don't use winter blades is after 60 mph, they lift off the windshield so much that they're pretty much useless....not to mention that they're harder on the wiper motor as well.....
