I was going thru some old floppy disc this AM and ran across some old pictures of a 50 color custom job a friend of mine did.
The vehicle has been sold and I have no Idea Where it is.
I'll stick in a picture of his flame work too.. It was on his old dodge;)
Enjoy

nice paint job!!! :)
but, gee, that truck would be easy to track down if someone needed to for some reason! ;)
wow. nice work.
the marbleing effect on the nose and the rivet/plate lines were most impressive. especially liked the rust effect added to some of the rivets.

I've often wondered how the insurance companies adjust the cost of repair for custom painted cars. Can they be repaired or do you start all over?

If you don't tell Insurance Co. about a 10-20k paint job they will not cover it.
Now if you tell them an they adjust the premium accordingly then yes but you will end up arguing to get them to pay for all!
I inspect motorcycles for an Insurance Co. (Mainly Harley, Indian,
Ultra, Big Dog, American Iron and all other High priced bikes)And verify and photograph.
Every one that has filed a claim had to jump threw hoops to get everything covered:dunno: If they could get it all covered?

Not only incredible paint but slammed to the ground! Hydraulics or air bags? Do you recall?
