Honda Accord strut problem [Archive] - Drive Accord Honda Forums

I purchased a 2005 Honda Accord one month ago. It is Honda Certified. I have many rattles and one of them was diagnosed to be a bad strut and bracket. Can someone tell me what these are? The dealership service told me they had to change two pieces. It will take several days to order. Is it bad for the car to continue driving under this condition? Should the struts be changed on both sides or just one side is enough? I am sorry about my ignorance but I know nothing about cars. Please explain these things to me.
