(one of these days i'm going to get this girl to register on here... :blah: )

time for tires on the 6th gen ex v6 coupe. stock alloy wheels (16 inch, not sure of the exact size beyond that!)

she had the oem michelin's originally. she hated them ecause they didn't last long enough for her.

she replaced them with coopers. (she doesn't remember which specific tire though.)

she's looking for something "well-balanced". not too expensive (her coopers were about $87 per tire), last long (more than 30-40k....), and all season.

any suggestions?

she's pretty vague on what exactly she wants. i'd keep in mind that we get our fair share of snow and ice here and she drives about 30-40 miles a day in stop and go traffic. she doesn't have much of a complaint about traction of any past tires or ride quality or anything like that either.

I like the Goodyear TripleTred or ComforTred. I don't know the warranty on it though. I do know that the Michelin X-Radial has a 80K warranty, the Hydroedge has an 85K warranty I believe. Should be good enough for her. They're not that expensive either - a bit pricier than normal but if it's gonna go 80K hell why not.

Was she happy with her Coopers?

I liked my Turanza LS-Hs, but I can't give a snow/ice evaluation.

BTW, what is that white stuff on the ground that I see on the weather channel?:)

SNOW?! where's there snow??? i want some snow. it's getting a little late for the first snowfall of the season!

i dont' think she knows what she really wants from a tire. i haven't been able to get too many direct responses. she'll probably just get the coopers again because it's less hassle or something....
