has anyone smoked out their headlights for an 04 coupe? and can i get sum advice to which bulbs i would get to get the hid look? thanx

There's a how to DIY step by step guide on cardomain.com that details what needs to be done. It looks great and give the car a more aggressive look. Depending on the color of your car should be the determining factor as to what type of headlights you want. Unless you get actualy HID's the knockoffs give off too blue of a color, unless thats what your after. Personally, I would go with the PIAA hyperwhite bulbs but i say this since my car color is the satin silver. I thought it was a smoked headlight mod but its similar. Its the same process only the guy's aim was to take out the yellow reflector, what you wanna do is spray the mirror parts inside the headlight. A few '03 and up Accords have their headlights blackhoused on cardomain.com. Looks great. Also since you wanna smoke the headlights you might also find the instructions for the reflector removal useful, its the same steps just different result.
