Hey,

Does anyone have instructions for JDM foglight kit? I have the oem kit instructions from Honda, but the wiring harness from JDM does not look like it matches up against the factroy oem harness. The JDM harness does not appear to need wires plugged into the bottom of the fuse relay harness under the hood. Also, the harness that came with my JDM kit does not match up with the plugs under the dash. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance....!

you need the usdm fog harness, the asean accord (NOT JDM) fog harness wont work on our cars

btw, where did you pick up a set of fogs?

I picked these up on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160221027218&rd=1

I didn't see anything mentioned that this was for an asian accord. I have 2 accords (06 and 07) and put an oem kit in my 07 hybrid. Just thought I'd save some money with the jdm kit. the oem kit I bought was about 240 from handa.com vs about 80 for the jdm. I'm thinking I may have gotten hosed now. Any advice?

Not sure what to do with this kit now, plus the right lens is cracked. I've contacted the seller but have not heard back from them. I may just dispute it with my credit card and buy another kit. The one I picked up from this link work great, just thought I could save a little. Looks like I made a bad decission.
Link to oem lights I got that work.

Those are not actually JDM kits. They are aftermarket OEM style kits. The JDM is added to the title for perceived value and to show up in search. Good luck getting your money back.

I thought I'd add my two cents on using the eBay fog light kit and how to make it work. I ended up buying some of the OEM parts to help with the install because the harness that came with the eBay kit was very different from the OEM harness...it seemed to be flimsier and there were fewer and different types of plugs on the eBay harness. Maybe there is a way to make the eBay harness work, but I wasn't about to mess with it. Overall, though, the eBay route still saved me $100+ and so far they're working just fine (knock on wood)

Here are the parts I needed:

1. eBay foglight kit (I only used the actual fog lights, the brackets for holding them in place, the relay switch, and the relay switch bracket.) - $49.99

2. OEM foglight harness, OEM foglight switch harness, and OEM foglight switch - $80 (Majestic Honda)

3. 20A fuse - $1

4. small pack of #10/32 machine screws and #10 washers for attaching the foglights to their brackets - $2 (the screws in the eBay kit weren't the correct size!)

....With all of those parts, I simply followed the Honda instructions for installation. I did have to find an extra screw and washer in my garage for attaching the relay bracket, and I also had to attach the relay bracket to a slightly different location on the frame, but other than that, the installation went as the instructions stated.

Some tips:
-remove the grille after removing the radiator cover. This makes routing the wires much easier. It's attached by 4 clips going in through the bottom.
-I attached all of the wiring into and around the fuse box first (wires into the 14 and 20 pin connectors, relay switch, and 3-pin plug). It just made it easier for routing the harness and keeping excess slack out of the wrong places.
-You don't need to completely remove the latch cover. The clip holding it in on the bottom of it was too much of a pain to remove. As long as you can unscrew the top bolt holding the latch on in order to attach the ground, you're good to go....that's what they even did in the collegehillshonda instructional video. They even used the same bolt that was originally there.

So, for about $135, I now have fog lights and they work and look exactly like the OEM ones. However, if you have an 06-07 coupe, the OEM kit is actually much cheaper and it may be worth just buying that....but for the sedan, it's a savings of roughly $120 with the same results.
