cabin air filter

97 accord, 93 civic, and 95 civic: do they have cabin air filter? i peeked thru the globe compartment and saw a 'foam' like filter. is that the filter? do i need to replace it? if yes, how? if not, do i need to just clean it? or just leave it alone?
