What do you guys think about painting the fog light housing on the HFP kit? When I first got the kit, the black fog light housing was the only thing I did not like about the kit. At first I wanted to paint it body color. Since then, it has grown on me and doesn't really bother me.

This morning I was browsing cars.com and I saw pictures of a PMM coupe with the fog light housing painted body color. I like it, but it almost looks too bulgy.

What do you think looks better?

Same issue here, Vtective....

I didnt notice it at first when purchasing the car. I didnt notice it until I posted images on this forum and compared it to others without the kit and realizing the HFP came with black plastic insert instead of the painted insert.

I personally think it would look 10x better PAINTED.

How much would it cost? I would be interested if I could do it for less than or at $100.

I don't know, I'll have to look into it. I agree though, it probably would not be worth it, at much more than $100.

painted looks more clean and crisp IMO....more reason to buy a black accord.....the black housing on the kit will blend in

NO SIR! :furious:

As the owner of a PMM coupe, it's blasphemy. The black inserts compliment the PMM color and makes the car look like it has intakes. No painting the inserts:thumbsdow

here's a issue, if you have a Black coupe, do you paint the inserts black:D

VTECTIVE - I will see if I can photoshop my avatar tonight and make it appear as if the black portion is painted. I think I would have to see it to know for sure.

unpainted. i actually think it looks cleaner that way. up close it might look "worse", but you have to think of how it looks from afar, from the distance most others would see the car from. once you look at it that way, unpainted wins, hands down.

I could go either way, but leaning more towards unpainted. With them painted it does look a little bulgy

depends what color in my opinion - if your have white or silver - the black on the HFP kit makes it match - but i don't really mind in my opnion looks good either way
