many of my friends told me that u can adjust v-tec with the solenoid under the valve cover is it true the motor is a f22b1

You'll probably have a hard time finding the answer to this here. For the few 5th gen members that we have hee on a regular basis, basically none of them mod their cars.

Be careful using chips and the sort. You don't want to ruin your engine.

Also, the best advice I can give you is to make sure the car is good to go maintenance wise before you go off and modify it with performance in mind. - Take care of the timing belt, water pump, check the radiator, transmission fluids, seals, inspect the othe belts, the CV boots, the suspension etc. The biggest mistake I see made daily are people who try and make these Accords speed machines with lots of little bolt ons but they don't take care of maintaining the engine. Big mistake.

I think you mean can you adjust the points where vtec engages. You can use a vtec controller of some sort or flash the ECU to change the RPM at which it engages. Like Tyler said, you won't find much help here on that. You might be better checking a forum that is more mod oriented.
