I finally got it in my greedy little hands. My own (or should I say American Hondas??) Accord Coupe.

I shopped on the internet, and found the price I was going to pay. The dealer agreed to this, but could not find what I wanted anywhere, and had to order it.

I was not going to settle for anything less than what I wanted:

Coupe, in blue
V6
6 Speed Manual transmission
Navi
Spoiler
Pinstriping
Mud guards
Foglights
Lojack...

And other little goodies

The day after I order it, another dealer found one that just got dropped off in Denver and arranged to have it sent down to me.

When it got here... there was a hole drilled in the front bumper! They installed a front plate. I told the dealer that I would not take a fixed bumper or a repaint.

They had a coupe roll in, and switched the bumpers, but had a hard time realizing that you CAN install foglights on the car. The instructions are not real clear, and if you have the ACCESSORY outside temperature sensor installed, then you cannot also put in the foglights. When the temp sensor is FACTORY installed, then you can do it.

Im on the way back to the dealer tomorrow to have the left windshield wiper arm and the trim piece that is below the wipers (the black tray) because a rock was jammed in there and ruined them both! Must have dropped in there when it was on the car carrier.

Next on the list to do is add replacement headrests with LCD screens and a DVD player in the glocebox.

After that I want to add the TV tuner to the NAVI screen, I think Im going to get the one from AVEelectronics.

:D

I'm glad I don't have to worry about deer, or icy roads!

Now the occasional coyote, or Cow on open range roads.... those I need to look out for.

How did your repairs work out?

not too many loose cows around here, but they exist too! deer tend to be the biggest menace!

so far it looks good. everything seems to be in it's place and working well, although my clutch seems to stick a little when i first start up the car. not sure if it's a cold weather thing or related to the accident!

must be nice not to have to worry about snow or ice or anything! :) i'm hoping to get some snow practice time in this weekend! i've never driven a stick in the snow before!

Its a 5 Speed MT.

When we went to the dealer to look at the Accord, they attacked us wanting it for a trade in.

Like Im giving up a clean (not one door ding) car in perfect shpe and 60K miles!...

its a coupe as well.
