I'm thinking about going with an eD install using a JL Audio Cleansweep.

13O.v2 w/Nine.2x
6.5" Components w/Nine.2

My question is, will the 6.5" midranges fit?

Thanks.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll let everyone know how the install goes after it's done.

6.5" all around but the Boston Acoustics are 6 3/4" with an adapter. Plenty of mounting depth.

I just got back from Tweeter to get a quote...

Wait for it...

$800! I was not expecting it to be that much! The only actual parts that I'd be getting from them is wiring.

Check out these prices:

1. "Custom Harness" for cleansweep = $150.00 (Whaaaaaat!?!?)
2. 4AWG wiring kit for 2 amps (Distro blocks included) = $159.99
3. 20ft speaker cable = $39.95

I think I can get it down to $530 if I buy all the wiring myself. $530 for labor and an amp rack. Does that sound right?

I forgot to mention to the guy that I have 120 square ft of eDead. I can't wait to see what that'll cost to install. Yeash.

I know what you mean. My system build has kinda stalled. It's starting to add up. Maybe I should just do a single sub w/a smallish amplifier and call it good enough.

530? thats a pipe dream.. my install alone is already at 2500.00 not icluding the equipment and thats not going to be funny... the nice thing is at least the magazines have gotten wind of it so they are aiting for the finished product... Im figuring about 3 months...

$2500 just for the labor/custom work? Yipes.

I've called around a bit and haven't found anyone to do it that much cheaper, so it looks like I'll go with Tweeter. Only prob is the installer isn't back until early May. What a bummer.
