anyone thought of putting sidemarkers on their accords? i think it'd give it that little extra something. since i own a taffeta white accord, i'd love to put a amber sidemarker to contrast the amber on the headlights but does it really matter which kind you choose? i've seen that the JDM DC5 markers have been popular with the civics. could this be applied to our accords?

would the 2008 Inspire side rear view mirrors fit on an 08 coupe?

or maybe the TL sidemarkers...notice how the accord has that sharp groove where a TL sidemarker could be placed...what do ya guys think?

Yea inspire mirrors should be the easiest and best looking way.

FYI: Inspire mirrors = MMC 3rd gen TL mirrors. No need to import.

MMC = minor model change a.k.a "refresh". :thmsup:

The 08 Inspire mirrors will be the same as the 07-08 TL mirrors. They won't be plug-in-play because of the different wiring (applies to the Inspires mirrors too), but it shouldn't be that difficult to tackle. 7th gen drivers can swap mirrors with a TSX or Accord Hybrid to get the look and function (again, they just need to be wired properly).

No DIY on this yet...

hmm i think people are confused...the sidemarkers on the TL are located on the fenderwell of the car...not the side view mrrors. even though those do look sweet and would eventually like to swap them out.

Can anyone confirm that Acura TL side mirrors or Rl side mirrors are the same as the Australian/Chinese Honda Accord/ Inspire.

i looked through a Acura's OEM parts website and the diff. between the RL and TL is the RL has heated side mirrors. The RL and TL have trun signals on it but the actual mirror has a different shape than the inspire/chinese version. hope this answers your question.

I think it would be better to get the TL mirrors. You'll need to mix and match parts (same with the 7th gen).

the TL side marker are tight. they look just like the BMW side marker from the previous generations.
