I test drove an F-350 diesel tonight. It was the Harley-Davidson model. The truck was pretty and had everything on it - including a sunroof. I really liked it. But, I absolutely am not in the market for a new vee-hicle.
The only reason I drove it was because I received a direct mailing from Ford stating that if I drove certain vehicles I would get a $50.00 gift card. Heck, the chance to drive a big ole diesel AND get $50.00 - I couldn't pass that up.
I was honest with the salesman as soon as I got out of the Honda. I told him that I wasn't buying at any price and I just wanted to take advantage of Ford's offer. I don't like to waste folks' time, so I wanted him to know everything up front. (By the way, I knew the salesman from my previous dealings with this Ford dealer, although I know he didn't remember me.)
I got on this Ford mailing list after buying my Mach 1 from Brandon Ford down in Brandon, Florida.
Anyway, man was that thing sexy!
