08 LX 5 speed sedan.

My Maintenance minder popped up last night at 7365 miles. Oil life at 15%.

Good timing since I will have them swap my snow tires off at the same time.

What mielage are others hitting for theirs?

I was at 50% and 5600 miles. I too, wanted to keep oil change in line with tire rotations, so I had it done.

How much do you pay for the oil change?

And how much for the tire rotation and balance?

My dealer charged me $53 for Mobil 1 (full synthetic).

7,400 miles (when I dropped off at body shop on Monday), 30% remaining.

Will do it in another 2K or so I suspect. Then I switch to Mobil-1.

just turned 4000 miles today , bought on 10/25/07 ... 70% left ... and I'm definitely getting on it... I'm taking the car in at 6,000 no matter what the MMC says.

had my A1 service done 8k on teh clock. around $45 plus I had them swap off my winter tires.

Topped up my gas, curious to see if there is a MPG increase now that the knobbies aren't on there anymore.

Since we are oil change topic.

Is Mobil -1 synthetic is preferred, I mean better than regular one? Which oil dealer uses by default?

Do I need to ask them specifically to use Mobil -1 synt. in my car?

Thanks for advice!

Yes, synthetic oil is far superior than dino oil when it comes to shear, boiling point, liquidity, and protection. Dealership will default to dino oil change. You will have to ask them for Mobil-1 synthetic.
