I posted this rim in another read but I think am going to pull the trigger on these wheels next week. Justed wanted to get some more feedback before I do it.
$600 installed using the stock 17" tires on the EX-L coupe. Should look good on a nighthawk black pearl coupe.

go chrome, hyper silver or black
also save the money go with 19's or 20's do it once and do it right... I went and got 18's now IM GOING TO GO GET 19'S FOR THE FRONT AND 20'S IN THE REAR...

definitely not doing chrome or all black...not my thing. haven't heard of hyper silver so I will check that out...
I am not going for a flashy 'hey everyone check out my ride look'...but I don't want something too plain or played out (i.e., black w/ chrome lip - from another thread here)....
it will look good, looks like Rays Knock offs

what I mean is the car already has 17's too much gap in the wheel wells it WILL look like ass if you put 40 series tires on it if you go with the OEM 60's thats not going to look right eaither... if you do the 17's with 40's youll lower the car to the ground 1/2 inch but youll have another 1/2 inch of gap sorry but YUK!!!!

I really like them - any thing but chrome...
Sorry, I thought you were talking rim styles...
40 series aspect is to low for my taste.... that's not beneficial in anyway, looks or functionality, don't go below 45 if you can help it. With 17's there will be ALLOT of room in there with ALLOT of gap I am sure, it may have that 4x4 look. that being said, I am planning on 17's with a 45 series wheel, but my chassis will be tuned/lowered so My gap will fill quickly... if you want the well filled and you are not planning on a drastic lowering, I would suggest a 50-55 series to fill it out... there may still be room left over though. I personally do not like LARGE diameter rims, for what I do they serve little purpose.

schu keep on thing in mind ( experience speaking) anytime you lower the car to fill the wheelwell, put a bigger rim and tire.. 2 inch expansionof rim = 1 inch recoveryof ground clearance if you lower 1 inch and you had 17"s on the average you will need 19's to recover the lost 1"height... remember most cities states and towns have parking bumps... you dont need to wear a badge on the bumper that says all life forms above 4" beware......
Sure real world usage is an issue the OP should consider... I don't have that issue with my car because of its intended purpose. on a personal note, if I do take her on a trip i will be able to raise her back up for the crossing and use my OEM rim/tire combo. I think the stated purpose of the majority here is for appearance, that's not personal my goal.

let me know what you guys think....I like the contrast with grey wheels on black. Have you looked at the HFP option? (sure more expensive)
