Anyone out there have Cruise Control Problems with their new Accord?
Well I didn't notice mine until I took a three hour trip and found out it worked for the first time using Cruise Control but when I hit the brakes it would not let me continue back to Resume or Set Speed. I would try to turn off the Cruise Control button and turn it back on and try hitting the set button again but it would not work.
20 minutes later of driving it would work again, then I hit Cancel and tried Resume and it would work, but when i hit a bump it would turn off.
After coming back from the trip, Cruise Control didn't work until 30 mins later of driving and I had to stop again, it had stop working.
So I took it to the dealership and have them took a look at it. They found out that the second brake switch was on to tight and they went ahead loosing it up a little bit.
Now it works great.
Just let you know before you head out on a long road trip.
Test it out more than once, set the speed and brake, resume or set it, and cancel. And set it again to make sure it working. The first time will always work.
FYI.
