It uses touchable screen. The total cost for Navi/DVD/Mirror is about $1300.

That can't be a touch screen.
1. It's far too recesed.
2. It has a control knob on the dash.

That's China, not Korea.

The website is Chinese with the .cn extension, but the language on the screen (5th image) is Korean.

Looks good to me. My Tomtom now is in the same location and uses a bluetooth remote control.. maybe it can use the same type of remote??
I've seen some unique, well executed custom jobs similar to this.
This example is a TL. Not only were the TL's audio and HVAC screens relocated, this one also moved the HVAC controls to between the seats allowing for a 10" NAV screen.

very trick indeed... I like the relocation...but with the swapped in screen was a 16:9 instead of a 4:3 ... oh well, nothing i'll be doing, but I do hope to see on someone's car on here.

i still can't believe that it's touched screen. but that shows me that a screen will fit in that compartment. i plan on getting the avic d3 and getting an extra screen to put in that compartment. does anyone know what is the size of that screen?

On a side note, that red button for the flashers is disgusting.

There is a new in-dash type Panaconic HDD 7' navigation system that will pretty much knock out all the competition. Coming out in June, in Japan only. Has a google-like street level view animated GPS and tons of other features. http://www.gadgetusers.com/panasonic-gps-strada-cn-hx1000d-and-cn-hw1000d/

Are they fairly easy to install or is it a "splice the wires" situation? Can you give me a website for PAC?

says compatible up to 2007, so its prob similar to the NavTV, may require splicing and wiring other than plug and play?

both gnet and pac are plug and play with gnd/+12v/ign or reverse.... it plugs in and T into the factory harness...interfaces are vehicle specific.....
the PAC interface says its the same from 07 to 08 on their website...
http://www.pac-audio.com/products/images/vci-hon1.jpg notice the plugs on both ends.....20 pin connector..

im not saying it wont work but i also dont see that on their website anywhere, i am talking about the wiring harness itself, as the 2007 and 2008 harnesses (connectors) are different according to others who have installed similar equipment on their accords
do you have one? the reason i ask is cuz for most people snipping and plugging wires in may be more than they want to mess with

so if i have that small screen (no navi) i can convert to one with the big screen? i've been wanting to do this for quite a while but the dealership told me it'll cost too much and i should just trade my car in for one with navi

... i still can't believe that it's touched screen. but that shows me that a screen will fit in that compartment. This setup simply looks like a 6.5" or 7" stand-alone navigation-GPS setup (ie. TomTom, Magellan, Garmin, etc'...) that's hard-wired into the Accord's 12v electrical system/fuse-box.
Installing the navigation-GPS display/screen looks to require some 'cutting' of the dash/console to allow full view of the screen and make it more accessible/reachable; also a bracket would have to fabricated to keep the nav'-GPS unit in place.
Moving the smaller clock/radio-display to the storage compartment below is real clean!
I'd seriously consider this if it didn't require cutting the dash/center-console! :(

u sure it requires cutting? can't you just use the front plastic piece from an accord with stock navi?

I like the red button too! Although I do think that the whole moving the original screen down does look pretty cool.

Bringing this thread back from the dead, YYking, how'd you find these pics? Any idea on how or where we can get some of these parts? I'd definitely do this mod if I could get the trim pieces and screen. It'd be a great alternative for the guys that dont have factory Nav, and it looks clean and oem as well!
