Has anyone opted for an HFP suspension kit yet? Jus wanted to know how you feel the handling has changed as well as the ride?...If you have, do u find the increase handling and ride change worth the $$$?

Got it put on 3 weeks ago. Handles & looks great! As far as the ride is concerned, I complained about it being stiff and unforgiving, but that's because I had never driven a car that had been lowered before. Everyone on the forum said that it would take some getting used to, and after three weeks I'm totally fine with it. As long as you don't expect the car to still ride stock like I did, you'll love it.

just got mine installed last week. Ride is pretty close to what it was... a little more stiff a little more fast dampening of bumps. Car is noticable lower.

Are the Eibachs the guy used with his 20" rims available to purchase anywhere? What's the drop on those?

I talked to one dealership in the area. They were at a complete loss when I asked them about the HFP suspension. I asked for a quote on labor and after they put me on hold for five minutes told me it would cost $850 to install (not including the cost of the suspension itself).
Needless to say, I called a dealer and they estimated 3.5 to 4 hours of work which would end up being a little less than $400 or so. I'm still debating purchasing the suspension.
Anyone care to persuade me, haha?

$850 is Highway Robbery:thumbsdow ...be careful!Oh definitely. I laughed when they told me that. If I ever do decide to get the HFP suspension, I will be installing at a different dealer.

I paid $800 for the suspension, plus installation it was about $1100. I know I could have had it done for cheaper if I had bought the suspension myself, but I had been waiting on the car for three months so I was just like F:censored: it!

ya its about an inch lower... but it is noticeable! in looks and in ride.
mine ended up costing about $645 for the parts... then 4 hours labor for install and an alignment to make sure everything was still fine.

I installed the Eibachs PRO springs over the weekend. It took about 3 hours with simple tools. But be careful you have to know what your doing and you must use a spring compressor. The springs cost me $200.
I think the HFP springs are the same as the H&R OE springs.
The Eibach springs say 1.2 drop in the front and 1.0 in the rears. Mine dropped 1.5 all around on my sedan. The pic is without the springs (stock height).

I bought them on Craigsl.... by accident. I was searching for Accord parts and this guy mentioned that he bought a set and decided to get coilovers instead and I asked him if he wanted to sell them...and he said yes. Yeah I know...it was a great deal.

I picked up a set of Eibach 4077.140 '08 I4 Coupe springs from advancespeedshop.com for $203.40 plus shipping. They arrived today. Now I just need to figure out if I want to install them myself or have the dealer or someone else install them. I have all the tools, just not sure I want to take on the project myself.

Funny you mention this place,I also bought my Eibachs from there and should arrive any day now. They've been great to deal with and I have a few friends that buy stuff from there.
