I would like to remove the chrome trim and replace with one that is either BLACK or a smoky Gray

Any suggestions? Places I might be able to find this?

Is it possible to pain the trim?

would rather replace with a decent part as opposed to using black out tape

THANKS

Which trim pieces in particular? My 02 has interior & exterior as well.

Ahh... the exterior chrom trim pieces

I would like to blak them out and get some decent tints... have no external BLING... just stealth and subdued

instead of removing them, cover them up.

You could use the black trim from the DX model for the window surround. For the emblems, you can get them powdercoated black or just remove them completely. I think there is already a black emblem kit though - not sure. If you want to black out the headlights, I'm pretty sure you can DIY it, it would be better than any aftermarket part.

sweet... didn't realize the DX came in Black trim

black emblem would be nice... don't really want to black out the headlights

thanks!

i believe the black trim from the DX is actually more expensive than the chrome trim from the LX / EX...why? because its basically the chrome trim covered with black tape...(or so i've heard)...
