I was driving through a toll both when the gate came down on my 08 coupe. It scratched up my driverside window. Does any one know a good way to fix this? Its not too deep, but there are a bunch of tiny scratches. Some are deep enough where you can feel it with your fingernail. Does Honda put a tint film on the outside from the factory? It kinda seems like the scratch is not only on the glass but on some sort of film. I know the windows are slightly tinted from the factory but im not sure if it by film or by something in the glass. Thanks for the help in advance. Brian
...I heard some auto-glass places do buffing to remove scratches but never seen the results.

Do you guys know if Honda puts a film on the outside of the window? I dont want to get it buffed out if it will make it worse.

depending on how deep it is they can buff it out.. Heck if you have an electric drill you can buy a kit to buff it out... It uses something called cerium oxide(Spelling??) anyway you mix it with water and make a buffing paste then use a drill with a large felt buffing wheel to buff the scratches out... Ive used it on windshields where people neglected to replace the wiper blade

Thanks guys, I figured it could be buffed out, but I wasnt sure if there was a film on the outside. Another question, my black plastic molding around the windshield got scratched as well. I heard Mag's PlastiX will work. Any other recommendations.
