My engine check light just came up and when I took it to an electrical technician, he simply took off the battery heads for a few seconds and put them back on...the engine check light went off and the engine runs smoothly. But this did not last. And every time this light comes up, I will repeat what the technician did and the light will go off....the worst is that it drags the engine when it comes up and I am forced to stop any where, open the bonnet and do my thing....
Anyone has a solution plzzzzzzzzzz??

Go to Autozone or another auto parts store and have them scan the code for you. Normally its free. Then post the code on here and someone can probably help you.

Pulling the clock fuse will reset.. That's a lot quicker and easier than disconnecting battery.
But do get codes read to find out the problem.

That light means the car is begging for attention! Find out what the code is so it can be repaired!:)
If it's something serious enough to make a difference on how it runs, then it may be something that can damage!:paranoid:
