Interior Rattles, Squeaks and More

Took my 03 Accord into this morning to fix a rattle that developed in the grab handle above on the drivers side. It started off small, but continued to grow and grow. Just picked it up and so far, no rattle.

The dealer had to ‘reset’ the handle. What other rattles, squeaks or other noises have others experienced with the Accord?

I use to drive a 90 Dodge Daytona, and that thing rattled all the time, but I was use to it. I’m hoping I can get help in identifying that is ‘normal’ and what should be fixed.

We are on our third Accord and fourth Honda and haven't had many problems with rattles and such. Only our 01 Accord has had some bad rattles in the dash and rear deck by the childseat anchors. The dealer fixed the dash under warrenty and I took care of the rear with a washcloth. As far as I can remember we haven't had any other rattling problems with any of the cars, well other than loose change and that kind of stuff. ;)

I had about 120 miles on my 2003 Accord Sedan EXL when there was a buzzing sound from the drivers side door down near the latch. When pressure was applied the buzzing sound was muffled. When the window was rolled down it went away. I pointed it out to the dealer and have an appointment to get it remedied. Anyone else have this problem? What was the remedy you discovered?

We have had the same problem. Dealer replaced door seal with no improvement. I think it is a problem with how the windowsill is attached(glued) to the door. Service appointment #2 is pending. Have you had any luck with your door?

Took my Accord in for service yesterday, and had the dealer look at the rattle...again. The past few times I've had it in, they have 'fixed' the problem for a day or two. This time, I talked to the service manager and he told me they found a loose 'clip' or 'strap' or something (I was trying to pay attention) that holds the headliner to the roof. They fixed it with 'foam tape' (whatever that is). So far it has worked... in previous attempts to fix, the rattle would be back in a matter of hours.
