Do not have to worry about the other drivers and what not.!! I1:) anysia 12-26-2004, 08:14 PM it would be great if i could find a party that i can spend the night at! my guess is i'll end up spending the night at home bored out of my mind! or i'll end up playing designated driver because i can't trust anyone i'd go out with to remain sober and drive me home later! hehe, i don't even know what to vote for in my own poll! :D Nozzle 12-27-2004, 08:38 AM LOL... 6 votes and still no party animals! Does that say anything about the sensibility of Accord drivers in general? :D I'll be home with my wife and daughter. My party days are OVER... (but it was my own choice, and a good one). stiller fan 12-27-2004, 09:09 AM not sure yet....not sure if i am going to drive down norfolk to chill out down there, or stay in da grove, or in pit.... anysia 12-27-2004, 10:33 AM i actually want to go to nyc, but i can't get any time off from work.... :( Dave 12-27-2004, 11:43 AM other. i'll be working. anysia 12-27-2004, 12:06 PM where do you work, dave? just curious cuz i'm stuck working during the day that new year's eve day. Dave 12-27-2004, 05:17 PM i'm an RN in an ER. stevel 12-27-2004, 05:32 PM drink with the neighbors next door and walk home. :) only danger is if there's a lot of snow. princess 12-27-2004, 10:09 PM Quiet? It's NEVER quiet here.....there's 3 boys with tons of energy!!:D anysia 12-28-2004, 05:05 AM Originally posted by Dave i'm an RN in an ER. eek. don't know if i'd ever want that job! especially on a night like new years where you're bound to see alot of tragedy! anysia 12-28-2004, 05:07 AM haha!! if only the neighbors weren't all well into their 60's/70's! snow!!! drunken sled riding is always fun, never dangerous!!!! :blah: BenjiBoy650 12-28-2004, 06:31 AM Originally posted by Dave i'm an RN in an ER. Gotta ask ya...do you notice more folks in the ER on a full moon? Dave 12-28-2004, 06:58 AM Originally posted by BenjiBoy650 Gotta ask ya...do you notice more folks in the ER on a full moon? honestly, its so damn busy every day its tough to notice any increase. stevel 12-28-2004, 03:30 PM I love the way you think anysia. :) anysia 12-29-2004, 05:28 AM now if only there was snow..... :( still no partygoers on da for nye? maybe we're too responsible! ;) Inspector1 12-29-2004, 05:36 AM Originally posted by anysia still no partygoers on da for nye? maybe we're too responsible! ;) Maybe I'm too old;) When I was your age anysia I would have been in the partygoers listing:D :D :D ;) I1:) anysia 12-29-2004, 07:39 AM if i could find a VERY inexpensive, but responsible way to be a party goer, i'd be one..... my problm is hotel rooms aren't cheap and i don't know anyone who wants to play designated driver! :( i won't even drink one beer and drive anywher-never have, never will. ("never have" is lying actually, i did drink and then drive the night before my wedding..... LONG story.) my1staccord 12-29-2004, 09:30 AM Well I am staying in, I have two boys that are too young to take out in the cold all night. Coil99 12-29-2004, 06:38 PM /edit/ FWIW, if I answered this question before the baby, I'd would have voted for the party option. In less than a second. Coil99 12-29-2004, 06:53 PM Originally posted by anysia if i could find a VERY inexpensive, but responsible way to be a party goer, i'd be one..... Would a cab work for you? anysia 12-30-2004, 04:35 AM pittsburgh? cabs?? do such things exist?? :lmao: yeah, there are a few stray ones around here, but it would cost me as much as a hotel room just to get from pittsburgh back to my house (30 some miles outside of the city). anysia 12-30-2004, 04:36 AM Originally posted by Coil99 As far as I know, I'll be staying in w/ my wife and baby. Which is fine by me! In fact, I'd prefer to catch up on some sleep and go to bed early - real early. The young'n is 7mths old now, so ya gotsta sleep when you can. If worst comes to worst, we'll head to a neighborhood "kid friendly" party were we can bring the baby. But, like I typed, this year I'd rather catch some extra sleep. FWIW, if I answered this question before the baby, I'd would have voted for the party option. In less than a second. if catching up on sleep is what you want, then go for it!! you'll be ringing in the new year nice and relaxed! ;) |
