It's weird.... it'll go for hours & not let me on... then suddenly it's all normal for a while. Then I have to try several times to get on....

I couldn't post last night, even after I was on here... I'd get the busy signal!!:dunno:

Did you finally get your laptop back, steven?

I saw Wards on here earlier... maybe he tweaked something to work 'cuz I just got on first try!!

I will get the laptop back on Thursday. They finished repairing it today and Alamogordo is so far in the boonies that overnight shipping takes 2 days :(

Believe me...its like being w/o a hand.

With that being said, I helped a buddy buy a used 07 Tundra to replace his Dodge Dakota, bought an old 18ft utlitiy trailer so we can haul more than 1 quad per vehicle, and have spend the last weekend and this week sanding, repainting, replacing the floor of the trailer, and rewiring the trailer.

We gave $400 for it and will probably put about 150 bucks into it. Not bad for a nice 18ft trailer with 8k lbs payload capacity and trailer brakes!

Its been nice working outside in the sun giving an old trailer new life!

Sounds like a good deal!

I am a bit jealous of the working outside part..... It's barely in the 70s here... we're way below our norm!!

Glad you'll get the laptop back soon!

What's weird about living in the boonies... my mom lives in the desert of NV.... it still only takes 24 hours for UPS ground to get things to her!! I've been really surprised by that! It's not far to drive (5 hours) but it's in the middle of nothing. So I figured they'd need to reload several times. I guess not.:dunno:

Although Windy (gusts up to 50) the weather here is very nice. Plenty of sun! That is for sure.

The trailer is painted (green) and re-wired. I am running a ground wire tonight as I hate frame grounds as you generally have problems with them in the long haul. After the ground is done, we are going to pull off the wheels and repack the bearings. We shoud be doing that tomorrow evening. We will then take the trailer to Home Depot and load it up with some 20 ft 2x6's for the flooring!

I'm not sure why everything takes so much longer, but I do know that all of the UPS & FedEx comes out of El Paso, TX while all of the USPS stuff comes out of ABQ, NM.....
