This is a regular of mine and he keeps his vehicle in very good condition (minimal swirls) so before pictures were not taken..

In fact I have been so out of the groove on taking pictures I didn’t even take engine pics (tsk-tsk I know).

Interior is always in immaculate condition and I already did a post winter full steam and extraction less than a month ago so it was in great shape.

Anyhow.. here’s my process and a few pics…

Exterior
• Surf City Grime Destroyer - All areas below the belt line via pump sprayer
• Surf City Grime Destroyer – on Engine via pump sprayer
• Surf City Grime Destroyer – on tire and wells via pump sprayer
• Chemical Guys Citrus wash n gloss – via foam gun
While foam was dwelling engine and wheels/wells were cleansed
• Surf City Beyond Steel – on rims
• Entire exterior pressure washed
• Entire exterior re-foamed
• 2 bucket wash with Chemical Guys Citrus wash n gloss.
• Engine and exterior dried with leaf blower
• Engine treated with CD-2
• residual water removed by blotting with dehydrator waffle weave towel (eshine.ca)
• All panels corrected with a mix of Duragloss 501 (duragloss.com) and Menzerna 106ff.
• All panels treated with Chemical Guys Ez-Crθme
• All panels sealed with Surf City Nano Seal
• All plastic trim treated with Chemical Guys trim gel
• Wheel wells treated with Chemical Guys Barebones
• Tires treated with Surf City Tire Pro
• Door/trunk jambs washed with Optimum No Rinse (bucket method)
• Door/trunk jambs treated with system one spray wax
• Rubber seals treated with 1z gummi pflege
• Window water marks removed with Duragloss Nu Glass

Super nice, great job on the wheel wells also. You'll need a bigger vehicle to tote all that stuff around before too long!

Thanks:D!! Yes you are right, this color is hard to make "pop".. almost like silver/white

Thank you my senor - the bare bones is a really good product - not sure how the price balances out to my go to wheel well treatment (more shine)....

I have gotten very creative in the way I transport my gear BUT you are right, it is getting tight!!

A product I used for the 1st time on this job was the trim gel by Chemical Guys.. this stuff is AWESOME!! I see this vehicle often so I will also be able to report out on durability!!

*By the way: have I told you that the Flex ROCKS!!!! I even busted out my makita rotary on this job*

nice job and nice pics MCH!

Thanks a lot:D

Wow!! Looks great, MCH!! This gives me the motivation to detail my car next week. My car has gone over a year without a proper detail. The only detail I did was last Friday and I only washed and used Maguiar's new polymer Quik Detail spray (I'm very impressed by it, BTW). So next week, I'm going to do a proper detail when I don't have school anymore...well, for a couple of months.

SWEEET - glad to inspire!!! You are talking about the new NXT QD right? I have heard great things about it!!!

No, its not the NXT. I don't remember what it was. It was $10 a bottle though. Ill snap a pic of it when I get home from school and work this afternoon.

Out of the cars ive driven, my current car is the most neglected. I used to detail my car once a season, each time was at least 15 hours total on the exterior alone. That was back then when I was in school and no job. Now with school and job, I don't have time anymore. So I will be taking a day off from work and spend the day detailing my car.

Ahh yes I mispoke.. I meant to say the Meg's UQD (ultimate quick detailer) with the "Hydrophobic" properties... supposed to be very good..

I hear you about not having the time to do your own vehicles.. between, raising my son, my career, my personal business' (two of them), school, and my personaly life I barely have time for anything... usually have to do my car at night.. not so easy!!

Yup! That's what I got!! The UQD! I'm very impressed by it. Especially when I don't have to order it online. lol

Yeah, avoiding shipping charges is choice... te be honest I really don't use QD's all that much... My main use for pre-mixed QD is as a drying aid - the UQD is far to expensive for that application!

I say "pre-mixed" because I uase grotesque amounts of Optimum No Rinse diluted to QD strength for claying.. VERY economical
