Check all fluids (including windshield washer), and most importantly in my world, make sure the tires are properly inflated all the way around. Typically, I just air the crap out of 'em the night before, then check them the next morning and air them down to where I want them.

Last, watch out for the droves of motoring idiots that will do their best to take the enjoyment out of your road time.

and if you dont feel like beating up the front end of your car too much, and dont want to spend the money on a bra....go pick up some blue tape and go to town....looks funny but its cheap and effective

good selection of music for every mood.

spare cash just in case you run in to trouble and end up in a situation that you have to pay cash.

make sure you check your spare tire and tire changing gear.

cellphone car charger and a headset.

just regular blue painters tape that you can pick up almost anywhere

its not that sticky so it leaves minimal to no residue, but thick enough to provide protection....

Not sure if you can cover the headlights during the day...might be considered a safety hazard since you cant "flash" anyone...

anyone know how much it cost to get a clear bra installed?? any estimates?? oh and how hard would it be to install a regular full nose mask?? trying to see which one to pick for my trip.

The clear bra can be pretty expensive, I believe I remember people here saying they payed 500-600 dollars installed. The black nose masks will be cheaper, and you can do it yourself in a few minutes. It depends what you are looking for. If you just want to have it on for long trips like this, I might suggest the regular bra. A clear bra would be better if you want more permanent, lasting protection without the odd look of a regular bra.
